Some Landfill Info:
- You may purchase a landfill coupon at the Town Office or can be invoiced after taking refuse to the landfill.
- Construction wastes containing asbestos will not be accepted unless accompanied by a document confirming the waste is free of asbestos.
- The Landfill Operator has the final say as to the determination of equivalent-sized loads.
- For mixed or non-separated loads which require the Landfill Operator to sort and place refuse in the properly designated areas, the fees are greater than $100.00 or double the above-listed fees.
- Any refuse placed outside the fence will be subject to a clean-up fee of $500.00.
- Units powered by Engines will only be accepted if all Engine fluids (Gas, Diesel, Oil, and Antifreeze) have been removed. Refrigerators and Freezers will be accepted only if freon has been properly removed and the unit is labeled as such.
