Residential Recycle Pickup

Residential Recycle Pickup is now bi-weekly. 

  • Monday: Residents of Teskey Crescent to 4th Street East
  • Tuesday: Residents of 5th Street East to East Side of Town

Easy Bin Waste Removal

The Town of Wynyard has contracted Easy Bin Waste Removal to provide the residential recycling pickup service. To know more information about recycling, please click here. Commercial property owners must contact Easy Bin for recycling pickup needs. Residential property owners who have issues with their bins must contact 306-554-7674. 

Recycling Centre

The Town of Wynyard has a Recycling Centre located at the corner of Avenue A and 1st Street East. It is open Monday to Friday from 8:00AM to 5:00PM.

  • Will Accept: flattened cardboards, newspapers, magazines, phone books, catalogs, and paper.
  • Will NOT Accept: soiled items, waxy cardboards, plastic containers, tin cans, glass.

ECO Centre

The Town of Wynyard has an ECO Centre located at 102 1st Street East, Wynyard, SK. It is open Monday to Friday from 8:00AM to 5:00PM. Please contact the Recycle Centre Operator for assistance on large quantities.

  • Will Accept: used oils (motor, transmission, hydraulic, gear, etc.), used filters (oil or fuel), anti-freeze, and DEF containers (jugs and pails).
  • Will NOT Accept: used grease tubes, oil soaked rags, used petroleum absorbing products (mats, pads, granular absorbents), and cooking oil.

*After-hours drop-off is available.

SARCAN

There is a SARCAN Recycling depot at 207B Avenue A East, Wynyard, SK. It is open Monday to Thursday from 8:00AM to 6:00PM. For SARCAN Recycling depot close to you, please click here. For more information about SARCAN, please click here.

Used Battery Drop-off

There is a plastic bin by the walk-in door of Avenue A at the Recycle Centre for the collection of used batteries. To know more about Battery Recycling, please click here.
